Rolex Middle Sea Race : Huang-Seng Lee’s Scallywag 100 took the 2024 title

Line honours has been decided at the 2024 Rolex Middle Sea Race following a captivating duel between two 100-ft (30.48m) Maxis. Arriving in Malta at 09:43:29 CEST on Tuesday 22 October, Huang-Seng Lee’s Scallywag 100 (HKG) took the title completing the 606-nautical race course in an elapsed time of two days, 21 hours, 33 minutes and 29 seconds. This followed an epic contest with Black Jack 100 (MON) who finished a little under 19 minutes later.
As Scallywag 100 crossed the finish line, 78 yachts were still racing. There had been 33 official retirements.
The Rolex Middle Sea Race monohull race record remains the time of 40 hours, 17 minutes and 50 seconds set by Comanche in 2021.
